About 85% of the clothing sold in the United States is thrown away in the garbage and ends up in landfills. By collecting unwanted clothing for reuse and recycling, you will help our local landfill and environment. Please take clothing and shoes to one of several drop-off points in the Athens community - see the locations below. The bins are maintained by U'SAgain. Approximately, 60% of the clothes and textiles are reused by being sold through thrift stores in the United States and abroad, the remainder of the textiles are recycled as other products or made into new textiles.
