It is estimated that over 200,000,000 pounds of batteries
per year are thrown away by households nationwide (not
including businesses).
Alkaline Battery Recycling
Alkaline batteries can now be recycled a the following
locations:

Rechargable
Battery Recycling
Nickel-cadmium and lithium rechargeable batteries may
be recycled. Drop these batteries off in collection bins
located at:
- Downtown Parking Services
- ACC Facilities Management
- Batteries Plus
- Radio Shack
